8 years since Pirate101 was made. Quite a few of those years were spent with players pleading for a new world. I know I bought off the entire game with crowns long after they made Valencia part 2, so if they decide to shut down the servers I want my crowns back.
But seriously, there has to be a way they can make a world update for Pirate101. Does Wizard101 really need a spring, summer, AND fall update? It wouldn't hurt for them to combine the spring and summer updates into one test realm and make spring for Pirate101's updates.
Can't say I'm surprised, but can't say I'm disappointed either.
It was expected sooner or later. Only most people I know decided to be "optimistic" and called me names for telling them the obvious truth of how things would end up just like their precious TT and POTCO. But hey, I like to ruin what is fun for people after all. (Known as not allowing them to give others false hopes for something that is obviously about to be placed in the grave and a tombstone is being carved into it slowly year after another).
Must say though, one of the most pathetic lines to ever read is that they're still looking for ways to update the game. No you don't need "ways" to. You had more than 10 chances in the past 4 years to help this game step on it's bare feet, but your precious Wizard101 and your terrible management you can't say no to had another different opinion on the matter. Because we all know! Wizard101 would die if it stayed without a new world or a new arc for 6 months - 1 year.
All memes aside (Including this 10 minutes short of a terrible announcement where Falmea probably wrote on her lunchtime break), I'll stick to the game because it was part of my old ruined self of 2012 (8 years ago since the game announcement). Pleased to meet some of the people I've managed to get along with. And obviously for those who I don't like and they don't like me, I don't have anything to say to you.
they already said they had no plans to do anything with this game last year so are people actually surprised they just went and said the exact same thing?

It's so sad to see them waste away this game as they are doing. It could've been great, what could've been, etc. After Valencia 2 I used to say all I wanted to see (and I guess still do) was them to release Louis' 3rd promotion, even if they did a cop-out with his character and just make it a gold one.
I'm not surprised, I'm not even sad, either. They've been like this since 2015. It's nothing new looking at their track record.
I wonder if what they are doing with Pirate is even legal? Giving their customers nothing yet still demanding money? Or giving us the bare minimum (Wiz assets) so they can say it is? They've become a pyramid scheme.
What I am doing now is waiting for a rewritten server so I can work through all the missing wiki stuff I can't do already.

They didnt find themselves in the same position as last year they intentionally ignored a MMO that still makes money to bring all those resources to it sister game. They could of waited a year for both games and started 2 unique arcs at the same time. When are they gonna leave mobile games alone and focus on the mmo that already have subscriptions. You can't say it not affecting wizard101 because it is. There were benifits started and ended because ki needed to tighten the money belt because they were "loosing money". They can't do it in pirate101 as the subscriber base is in constant decline. They think by shortening member benifits time, making worse hoard pack worse and making the best gear bonus from pack is the way to go creating revenue lol.
