Good Posters Guide

Introduction
Thanks for checking out my guide. This guide is to help people improve their posts, or help them in any way, if needed.
There will be lots of tips, advice, etc. I am always open for suggestions, so if you have any suggestions of anything I should add to this thread, feel free to VM/PM me.


How do I make a helpful post?
If you haven't, please read the Forum Code. That can improve your posting alot.
Tips
1. Don't spam, (doulble posting, tons of smiles, posting nothing to do with the main topic.)
2. Try finding proof to your post, so you and the others can know it's right.
3. If your posting an answer to a question on a question forum, try answering the question if it hasn't been answered. If it's been answered, I recommend you move on to the next thread, since the original poster already knows the answer.
4. Try to make the posts informative, with enough information as needed.
5. Also try to stay positive. Posting positive makes the atmosphere of the previous and future posters happy, and not also feel negative.

How do I make a friendly/nice post?
1. Again, try to stay positive.
2. If the poster is sad try to have your post try to cheer him/her up, while staying on topic.

How to Post a New Topic
To post a thread, go to the forum you would like to make a topic in, click 'Post New Thread' then you can start typing your topic. The 'Post new thread' button looks like:

To preview what your thread will look like, and/or post a thread, click one of the two buttons below:

How to post a reply to a topic:
Click the 'Reply to thread' and type your reply.
