Good connection, but losing it?

I'm trying to get onto W101C for some things. When I get onto there, the tab that it's in takes a while to load. If I open a new tab with more W101C, I lose connection. Anyone else having this problem? I think it's too much traffic on the W101C Network.

EDIT: As it turns out, this was a busy day for W101C. I found that there were many people who couldn't connect. I think I had the best time of them all because I'm on wired. I PM'd Jester, and it was just a high traffic day. I think I know why too.. Check the announcements on the W101 Login.

More than likely it is your System, Browser, Connection etc. Too many possible causes to list but W101 and Pirates have been working fine. I am on W101 C and Pirate 101 C, Also Running Pirates and Wizards Simutaniously.

Well, you've got a much more powerful computer than I.

It's actually our server and the high traffic on W101C. The server is outdated, we're probably going to get it upgraded this week.

I use Multiple Computers, The Ones I have are 12 years old but Enhanced. You too can Outrun it, if You Do a few things to keep it clean. A pentium 1 or 2 can hang if you Keep it clean and Allocate the resources properly.

I also have the issue! I thought it was my computer but I have recently got a new computer and it still runs really slow on W101central and/or disconnects.

Yeah, as others have said...

Wizard101 has over a million players now, it's only natural with more players comes more traffic to the fansites. I don't think getting a new computer will help with making your internet run faster anyway. Often it's your connection speed, which (usually) does not have anything to do with the speed of your computer.

It could be your network, but you said you have a good connection. Leave it to Jester and the admins/mods to upgrade their systems.

Here something else you must take into consideration. Your Internet Provider? When is the most activity in your neihborhood? You can have 100 megs Upload and download speed "Off Hours" Then everyone in your neihborhood on that same Hub at once reduces you now to 3x Dial up LOL. Fiber Optics? satelite? Coax provider? FYI. YES it can change a lot and is VARIABLE! BTW this week Pirates Central Site Servers have been slower than Usual if that helps, I looked at the Site Statistics for the past week, Yep they been slow.

i have the same problem when i open other games like overwatch or warframe CSGO Quake Champions it works fine

When i open wizard or pirate just connection lost
