Tutorial 1: The Power of Adjustments

Hi there, so this is my first tutorial (or could be said a small tutorial).
This is my first ever tutorial in this forum, and it's one package with my
Art Improvement thread. I just want to separate this from my
original art thread because this is a tutorial, and to ensure that
things are organized between the artwork thread and the tutorial
thread. Anyway, let's begin the tutorial with the topic:

I don't want to really says a lot that this is a tutorial,
however I just want to share to you all on how powerful
adjustments are with the background environment.
This tutorial is not for beginner, the users should know
on how to use the basic tools of their program.
For your information, I use Photoshop CS4, which is
kinda old program to use, but yet still really comfortable
to use. Adjustments include brightness and contrast,
color balance, hue and saturation, etc. You can find that
in any software packages (I guess). So without further ado,
    here's my tutorial:

You can use this two graphics below for your FB cover
(it's the size of FB cover anyway), but please don't
    forget to credit me.

    Here's the finished product:

And if you're not comfortable enough with the text,
    here's the background only version:

You can try to experiment different colors for the supernova,
it's actually depends on your boundless imagination, who knows
that you can customize those colors better with the usage of
those adjustments tools above. Keep looking out from my art thread for
more artworks that I will upload for you all to enjoy.
