Cannot Delete a Pirate

I have a level 2 pirate that I use for storing extra stuff. I recently emptied out all his stuff so that I could delete him and make room for a new pirate but it won't let me. I do the "YOHOHO" thing but the delete button stays grey. Is this a bug or does he need to be a higher level or something?

You could try contacting support and asking them to delete it for you. However it is the weekend so it would take a while for a response.

Sounds like a bug unless it was a sneaky update. I have deleted characters at that level before. No harm in leveling up a bit and trying again.

Hmm, that is really odd. Did you put the right amount of ho's and an exclamation point at the end? If not, that seems like another one of those pesky bugs...

I think it's the missing exclamation mark - YOHOHO! - to delete.

Yep! You guys were right and thank you. It WAS the exclamation point. I didn't think it was part of what I needed to type lol. Now I feel a little bit silly.
