    Phrygian Frostlock (Level 70) information.....

    Hello there.

....let's just say that this weapon is.....interesting.

At a cost of 5,750 Crowns, this Level 70+ weapon has a base range of....1.
That's right, a range of 1. (I assume that the Level 65 version also has a range of 1, considering its range is not stated.)
This makes it one of (if not) the only ranged weapons with the lowest possible range (1).
(Sniper (Rank 1) can increase this Range to 2.)

Also, as opposed to dealing Magical Damage (like the Imperial Frostlock, its Level 10 equivalent), it actually deals Physical Damage.
(I know the wiki doesn't state this, but it's still good to know.)

Fix Bayonets! works with other Shooty weapons (although the animation is a bit bugged, haha).

    To finish it off....
You can apparently stitch it to most non-bayonet weapons.

(I checked with other weapons and can apparently stitch the Frostlock's appearance with the stats of the Haywire Armada Rifle, Haywire Pistoleer Set, Hand Slingbows (shown in one of the videos above), or the Gilded Sparquebus.)

Maybe it missing (stabby) as that was how it was often use then it would explain the the range.

It could be the original card that created Bonnie Anne's card version of "Stock Assault." Perhaps this was meant to be a unique property specifically to the Phrygian Frostlock, but given how this weapon isn't too practical, even without unique impact animation (for some reason, given how this weapon has existed when Pirate101 began circa 2012-2013), not many people have much use for a Phrygian Frostlock to begin with. If one wants to go melee agility, then stabby shooty or slashy shooty tends to be the way to go, particularly for swashbucklers.

From what I've learned with stitching, I think that's just how the devs did the coding. Weapons that are the same weapon type (shooty, shooty/stabby, etc.) can be stitched together, so the bayonet and pistols can be stitched together, regardless of the gun type, because they're both shooty weapons. The resulting range from the stitch will only depend on which weapon's stats you choose to keep.

If I read this thread correctly:

A weapon that is solely ranged (shooty) should normally have a range greater than 1, as shown in the pictures, because it's a ranged weapon. Otherwise, it would be completely ineffective in combat.

In other words, it's a shooty weapon with a range of 1.

The only other way to explain its range of 1 is if it was meant to be a combo with a melee weapon (shooty/stabby, shooty/smashy, shooty/slashy).

If the above was not the intended case, then what should be fixed is the Phrygian Frostlock's base attack range, which should be increased to 3 or 4 (most likely 4, as it is a bayonet gun with a long barrel).
