How hard is it to inherit pet traits?

I predict that it might take over 2 million gold to inherit the powers and traits that I want for another pet.

For some reason, I morphed 2 adult hedgehogs: one with relentless, rainbow blessing, and burst fire and another one with relentless, rainbow blessing, and overwatch.

I wanted to get a hedgehog with overwatch, rainbow blessing, and burst fire.

Instead, I got a hedgehog with relentless, rainbow blessing, and burst fire.

In my own 6+ years of experience, the only thing that appears to matter is the pool. Unlike Wizard101, talents that the parents have manifested, hardly seems to influence what the offspring learns. It is likely a random selection from what is available.

To answer directly, it may be pretty difficult and time-consuming solely because manifestation is, quite possibly, completely random. Try using pools where you know exactly what is what. It may save lots of time -and headache-.

Don't discard that newfound hedgehog though, it can be useful in certain endeavors such as melee musketeer.

if we CAN See what all the talents and powers are, it would NOT even help how random each new trained pets are. It's all by the luck of the draw. Sometimes you get a pet you want, sometimes you don't. I, too, I have been putting up with pets for 6 years, and only last year and this year have I finally got a few decent ones without spending any real money to speed up the process.

I've tried hatching for at least 1-1/2 years for a particular talent on the Dove.

I get the talent on every other pet than the one I want.
Wish there was an easy way to get the talents/ powers you want on a pet.

I hate to say it, but getting talents on Wiz pets were easier than Pirate
