2020 Holiday Nullification 1v1

Once again the citizens of the Spiral enter the season of giving and receiving, so naturally it is time for a little nullification fun!

Rules

• In this tournament, players will null (take away) 1 power and 1 companion from their opponent. These nulls can change for each battle of a match set and round to round through the tournament, so be ready to modify your strategy as you go!
• Any power and any companion is fair game.
• All other Central rules will apply. Click here to read these rules.
  

Prizes

• 1st Place - CHOICE of either Cutthroat Bundle or Admiral's Bundle + 20,000 Crowns
  
• 2nd Place - Will get the bundle not picked by 1st place + 10,000 Crowns
  
• 3rd Place - 5,000 Crowns + BAAR Companion
  
• 4th Place - 5,000 Crowns + Ninja Pig Companion
  

Reminders

• Players must declare their pirates when they join and may not change once declared.
  
• The tournament will begin will all spots are filled.
  
• Each round will last for 7 days. Extensions are allowed but must be requested.
  
• Communication between players when scheduling must take place here on Central via visitor messages.

If I ban a companion that has a clone, are they both banned or can they just bring out the same guy with a different name? If I were to say ban Emmett, would Exeter still be fair game?

Interesting question. This has never been an issue since this tour came to being...possibly because there were not many clones in game at that time. I think that if a companion is nulled, their clone should be as well. If it is a different class (tho I can't think of any off the top of my head atm) but same companion, it should be fine.
