Rapa Nui can be seen from the Jonah Town Docks, but Jonah Town cannot be seen from Rapa Nui. From the whale's dock area, you can see the island of Rapa Nui in the distance (I'm thinking it isn't quite in the right place, though) but from the island, there is no sign of the whale, it is lost in the clouds.
