KI Live for April has been announced!

We'll once again have new developers on the show while the community joins us in live chat and in Wizard101 and Pirate101.

We’re leaping into spring with the best KI live to date! Many questions and concerns about the new Wizard101 update are answered, the two new community managers are introduced, and Ratbeard continues to be a true legend. Pirate and Wizard101 rejoice - there is something for everyone!

I finally watched the beginning of the video this morning, and the introduction of the new Pirate101 Community Manager, Chris, who is going by Hawkules on the main message boards. I thought some of the stuff was worth sharing here.

Pirate101 discussion begins at 20:50:

20:50 Speaking of Pirate101 news, we are actively working on a small update we hope to have out soon, not before the next KI Live, but maybe before the one after that, if the stars align properly. I don’t want to spill any more beans about what’s to come because we have a roundtable coming up soon, and I don’t want to spill those beans either because I want let a certain [??] human who I’ll introduce talk to you more about that.
Decius: I want to spill some beans, though.
Leah: Beans! You have beans?
Decius: Yeah, I have beans to spill.
Leah: Okay, spill your beans and then we’ll have Mr… Mr. Hawkules spill more beans.

So, Mia is one of our artists here, and she’s been doing a lot of concept work for us, like over on Twitter as [??] and we were working on a couple of new companions, and I wanted to show off some of the stuff. This is not going to be in the next update that Pirate gets, this will probably be in the one after that, just as, uh, they’re not quite ready yet, but this is one of them. A new Kurgha upgrade, new Kurgha companion. Looks pretty great, and I had to uh throw in this one,

because I thought it was just too funny. I’m sure you all know who this is.
Kyle: Yeah, that’s Sinbad
Decius: No, this is his evil brother --which doesn’t actually exist in the game. We were just having fun with this. But here’s actually the Sinbad upgrade path, what he’s going to look like,

I wanted to make sure people could see it. Go ahead and follow Mia, if you can, on Twitter. She posts a lot of wonderful concept art up there, just like Adam does for Wizard. And that’s the beans I was gonna spill.
Kyle: Those were some good beans, they were good for my heart!
Leah: Yeah, let’s not think about the next upgrade there.

It's best if you watch his introduction in the video. The guy seems very enthusiastic about the game and his job, and I've already noticed an improvement in the main site message boards. He mentions his main source for Pirate101 communication, but I hope that he also joins us here on Central.

Things are actually looking hopeful!
