While your latter statement is true, I must say that many people do still play, and I was very much impressed with the population of Avery's Court when I logged in a few days after the new update.

(P.S. I still think this measly update is nothing compared to the story update for which the playerbase has been waiting for years now.)

I've recently gotten back into the game. Though to be perfectly honest I don't think you should worry on how many people play the game. If you enjoy playing the game, then keep playing it. And the game isn't that hard to solo alone other than maybe maybe maybe Kane (slight spoiler sorry) if you don't know what you're doing. But you should have no problems maxing.
