All these prefer Desserts, probably because they are made of candy (but they only like Tin Stars, which Jackalopes love).

I humbly suggest you may want to include snack type preference in this format:
Batik Eggaloon (CR) [DSRT]
I abbreviated Dessert to [DSRT] so it was the same length as [MAIN] and [SIDE].

Of course there are many more pet species, and the rest of us should try to help you out by posting them with name, origin and type preference. More will be forthcoming as time permits.

Thank you for the compliment Charles and also thanks for the suggestion about the format. I will surely give it some thought.

I guess I kind of figured that if the Pets were listed directly below their preferred Snack Class then there wouldn't really be the need to put the preferred snack class behind each and every pet in the listing. It seemed much simpler to me just to Make a Header and label it "Desserts" and then put every pet that liked/preferred "Desserts" directly below the Desserts header. That way the only extra labeling would be for the Pets World Origin. You would know that it was a pet that Liked/preferred desserts because it was listed under "Desserts". It seemed a bit repetitive and/or unnecessary to actually put the snack class preference after each pet when the pets are already listed under the Snack Class that they prefer, thus showing their preference in this way.

I do appreciate the suggestion and may look to add something like that if it seems players are truly having difficulty determining which Pets Like/Love which Snacks. I tried to make it as simple to reference, "easy on the eyes", easily printable and compact as possible. I suppose for me it is super easy to follow because I was the one who made it, so I honestly may be a bit biased because of that. Just find your pet, note it's world and find a Snack listed directly above it from the same world and voila.....a LOVED result!

Just a question, in your example above is that the correct info for the Batik Eggaloon or was it just to illustrate the format? Just wanted to add it if it was the right info- if so, Thank You. And I gladly look forward to any players who would like to provide info for pets not on the list. The more that are on there, the better. I don't have most bundle, gift card or holiday pets- so any help with those would be greatly appreciated!

"1) Are the pets marked by their world of origin? I can't seem to find it."

The simplest way to use this "guide" is to find your pet and note the two letters in parenthesis directly after the pet's name.

Seems pretty obvious to me that the Skrimshaw Drake is from Avernus, the Valencian Oranges and Gears N Granola are from Valencia, the Potatoes Polaris are from Polaris, and the Dark S'Moors are from Darkmoore, which would explain why the Skrimshaw Drake doesn't like any of the other Unknown snacks, assuming it does not."

I believe that the Scrimshaw Drake follows the same principles as the other pets. With any pet match the letters/world initials in parenthesis that follows the pet, with the letters/world initials to produce at least a LIKED result. If that Snack happens to also fall into the Class listed directly above the pet, then the pet will LOVE it.

In other word, it has not been verified. Okay. If I ever run into it, I will attempt to verify it.

The answer to your first question is that the snacks do NOT have any designation as to type in the game. Generally, their name or image is sufficient to indicate which category they fall into. If the name/image doesn't immediately place it, we can tell by feeding it to a pet that is know to react a certain way and confirm.

Hey Max, like Willow noted- there is no direct labeling of the pets in the game in regards to where they come from or what World Origin of Snack they prefer. Also, like Willow said, most players get a good hunch of where the pets come from based on their appearance or from seeing them in that particular world in the game. This is a good starting place to base your training efforts. Even when there is a hunch, all of the pets still need to be "tested" to: 1] verify that it is the correct World Origin associated with them and 2] find which Snack Class a given pet prefers. Most of the info in the guide is based on my educated guesses and Trial-n-Error, followed by verification from my own training efforts. All of the pets on the list currently are ones that I possess and have checked them for accuracy (minus, the most recent gift card pets).

What I do is when I get a new pet that I don't know what it likes or loves, I first feed it one of the 3 Snack Classes from a World Origin that I think it is NOT from to determine if it likes Main Course, Side Dish or Dessert snacks. That is the fastest of the 2 variables to figure out since there are only 3 choices of Snack classes. Once that is determined I try to narrow down what world the pet prefers Snacks from.

For example: I purchased the Mechanical Owl and fed it a Dessert snack after training- (I went with a low level Skull Island dessert to keep from using up a higher level Snack and because I had a hunch the Owl wasn't from Skull Island). It didn't LIKE it so that ruled out both Desserts and Skull Island). Since I knew it didn't prefer Snacks from Skull Island I next fed it a Side Dish from Skull Island- which it LIKED. Now I knew it LIKED Side Dishes. I then trained it and fed it Side Dish Snacks from Aquila (since the owls are seen in trees in Aquila) and produced a LIKED result again. So, I knew it didn't prefer Aquila Snacks. My next guess was a Cool Ranch Side Dish, well because owls seem kind of Cool Ranch-ey This produced a LOVED result and I now knew my pet owl Loved Side Dish snacks from Cool Ranch.

I have done the above example with looooooots of my pets and this is how I found many of their Loved snack preferences. The others I got from info and data on other P101 affiliated sites and then testing them on my own to verify accuracy.

Also, I stated that "I believe" the Scrimshaw Drake follows the other pets- I should have said that I can confirm to a point. I have several Scrimshaw Drakes and I know for certain that they Like all snacks with an UNKNOWN World Origin. I have tested and confirmed this with all of the Unknown snacks. What I can't confirm (and the reason for the "I believe") is if it LOVES Main Course Snacks labeled UNKNOWN, only because there currently are no UNKNOWN, Main Course Snacks in the game. I can confirm that the Scrimshaw Drake Likes and prefers Main Course Snacks, however. So, if it holds true to the other pets, then the Scrimshaw Drake will LOVE Main Course Snacks from an UNKNOWN World Origin, once KI adds an UNKNOWN Main Course Snack. But the Drake definitely likes both Unknown snacks from all Snack Classes and Main Course Snacks- this I can and have confirmed with my own pets and through training.

Thank you @Row4n and @bountytaker for the additional pet info. I have to make some adjustments to my original spreadsheet and re-alphabetize the pet listings. I am having issues editing my post because of how I copy and pasted it from the spreadsheet. But I will surely get those pets added real soon once I "tweak" the spreadsheet and get everything transferred over.

Hey everyone, I hope to be updating the Snack Cheat Sheet really soon.

I have all of the Grizzly Pack pets and the 2 hybrids from them to add, as well as the Fire Toad and Scylla spawn. And thank you @Willowdreamer and @Row4n and @bountytaker for the additional pets-- I really appreciate the extra info. The somewhat boneheaded way in which I did the Cheat Sheet has made it very difficult to edit. I will have to add everything to my original spreadsheet and then completely delete it in the OP, and then add the edited sheet. Or just redo the whole thing in a different, more edit-friendly manner.

But I will get it updated as soon as possible, so you guys and gals can make sure to feed those little critters snacks that they love! Happy pet collecting, morphing, training and feeding to all!

Updated the Cheat Sheet with the new Grizzly Pack pets, newest hybrids, various new pets from the updates and the pets provided by posters in the thread. A big THANKS to those that helped provide pet snack preferences info. I'll update again when I get new info for several pets and/or hybrids.
