Re: Real Life Armada Disguise.
Wow, that looks amazing and just like the real thing. Probably took a lot of work, nice that you were able to get help with making it.

Re: Real Life Armada Disguise.
For those curious we got the hat, jacket, mask (eye holes enlarged slightly to make it easier to see out of) and bulwark from one costume store, the gloves and breastplates (two of the same one and they both got later spray painted grey) from a second costume store and the buttons and blue, white and gold fabric from a general fabric/sewing materials store and tights (that piece of white you see in one of the pictures which was used to resemble the leg guards) from a third costume store. Now I know that the hat itself is not in the same shape as the one in-game but it was the only one that we could find that had the ponytail built into it.
We used Velcro to hold the white fabric and breastplates together (the breastplates do come with tie-on straps but we went with the Velcro for ease of use, and the breastplate comes with Velcro to hold up the red cape it comes with so we didn't need to do much on that front) and gold buttons to make the general outfit stand out more. Best of all nothing on the outfit is permanent (well aside from the spray painted breastplates of course but that's beside the point), so any of it can come off if need be.
Overall we had to do allot of improvising and searching around to find the right parts but the results were worth it I'd say. I also have to give a shout-out to the store clerks that helped us out and gave us ideas on how to improve on it as well.

Re: Real Life Armada Disguise.
Since Halloween is coming up (and since I've decided to go as this again) I figured I'd give this thread a bump so that more people can see it.
