Illustrated Guide to Ship Cabins
Illustrated Guide to Ship Cabins
Ship Cabins are housing areas that can only be accessed by a Pirate while an unbottled ship is docked. The sigil, which appears as a keyhole, can be found in various places, depending on the origin and size of the ship. Only one Cabin of each type may be owned by a Pirate, and only one can be equipped at a time, which will appear no matter which ship the Pirate unbottles.
The basic Cabin is available immediately upon boarding the first Raft acquired by a Pirate during the quest That Dirty Rat. It consists of one room, with the doorway in the middle of one of the walls, opposite a curved wall with a bank of windows. This area will hold 50 housing items.

The Captain's Quarters is a Cabin that can be purchased in the Crown Shop for 2,500 Crowns. This Cabin consists of three rooms connected by a central hall, and will hold 100 housing items.

The Pirate King's Retreat is a Cabin that can be purchased in the Black Market for 25,000 Scrip. This cabin consists of six rooms, the first level pretty much the same as the Captain's Quarters, with the addition of a lower level that adds three more rooms, each one leading into the next. The cabin can hold 150 housing items.
Room one is where the stairs come down, but the pirate cannot stand on the stairs, teleportation to the upper level results when they are approached.
Room Two is a large open space.

The final room has a curved wall, at the bow of the ship that has shelves where items can be placed.
Enjoy decorating these unique housing areas as you acquire new items in your travels!
